Job summary

Anthony Veder in Rotterdam seeks an experienced Master to oversee the vessel’s safe and efficient operation, including cargo handling, navigation, maintenance and crew management. You will act as the Company representative and head the on-board leadership team, developing and growing all seafarers under your command.

This role requires STCW-compliant qualifications and an excellent command of English, with experience aboard vessels operating with mixed nationality crews.

Qualifications

• Next to all mandatory STCW training, we require Advanced Gas Tanker certificate.
• Excellent command of English language.
• Experience with mixed nationality crew.

Responsibilities

As a Master you are responsible for the vessel’s safe and efficient operation including cargo operations, navigation, maintenance, and crew management. You are responsible for all people on board at any time andyou make sure that the vessel complies with all statutory, regulatory and company requirements. You are a true Company representative and you head up the leadership team on board. In your role you are responsible for the development and growth of all seafarers under your command.

Requirements and preferences

Next to all mandatory STCW training, we require:
