Job summary

Anthony Veder seeks an Electrician to join the Engine Room team aboard our gas shipping fleet. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and 2E to ensure safe and efficient operation of electronic, electrical, and computer-based equipment, and support masthead operations during cargo plant repairs.

Role requires STCW and Advanced Gas Tanker certificates, strong English, and experience with multinational crews. PLC familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• STCW training (mandatory)
• Higher electrical/electronical education
• Advanced Gas Tanker certificate
• Good command of English
• Experience with mixed nationality crew
• Preferably experienced with PLC's

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all electronic, electrical and computer-based equipment on board.
• Monitor electrical/electronic systems to maximize vessel safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with deck team and Chief Officer for cargo plant related repairs.

As an electrician, you are part of the Engine Room team. You work closely with Chief Engineer and2E and together you guarantee the safe and efficient maintenance, troubleshooting and repair off all Electronic-Electrical and computer based equipment. You are Responsible for monitoring all Electronics and Electrical equipment on board to maximize the operational safety and efficiency of the vessel. for cargo plant related repairs,you will work with the deck team as well, headed up by the Chief Officer.

Requirements and preferences

Next to all mandatory STCW training, we require:

• Higher electrical/electronical education

• Advanced Gas Tanker certificate

• Good command of English language

• Experience with mixed nationality crew

• preferably experienced with PLC's
