Job summary

Sam & Julia (The Mouse Mansion) seeks a marketing intern to dive into growth marketing for a globally distributed children's brand. You will work with the Marketing Manager and e-Commerce Manager to plan and execute campaigns across social and email channels.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and AI-enabled optimization while contributing to an international brand positioned at Amsterdam’s Muntplein.

Qualifications

• Enrolled university/college student with interest in marketing and social media.
• Fluent in Dutch and English to communicate across channels.
• Analytical and creative, with a hands-on attitude.
• Interest in growth marketing and digital trends.
• Available for 4+ months, 32–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Set up and optimize campaigns on Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads and Pinterest Ads.
• Create social media content using Canva and other tools.
• Assist email marketing campaigns in Klaviyo.
• Support influencer marketing and partnerships development.
• Analyze campaign results using Google Analytics.

About Sam & Julia (The Mouse Mansion)

The Mouse Mansion, originating from Karina Schaapman's successful book series, has grown into an internationally recognized children's brand with worldwide distribution of books, toys, an animated series, and webshop. Our unique museum/shop at Muntplein in Amsterdam forms the heart of this creative concept, where the original miniature worlds are exhibited and visitors from around the world are welcomed daily. As a family business with international ambitions, we coordinate all global activities from our office above the shop. The shop functions not only as a point of sale, but as an experience center where visitors discover the complete Mouse Mansion universe.

About the internship

As a marketing intern at Sam & Julia, you'll dive into the world of growth marketing and international brand building. You'll help develop campaigns that inspire children and adults to get creative with our products. You'll have the opportunity to work with all facets of modern marketing and make real impact.

In this role, you'll work directly with our Marketing Manager and e-Commerce Manager, and have the freedom to execute your own ideas. You'll learn not only the technical side of digital marketing, but also how to position and grow an international children's brand.

What will you do?

• Support in setting up and optimizing campaigns on Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and Pinterest Ads
• Help create content for social media channels using tools like Canva
• Assist with email marketing campaigns in Klaviyo
• Support influencer marketing and partnership development
• Analyze campaign results in Google Analytics
• Assist in developing content with external creators and UGC
• Brainstorm new marketing strategies and creative campaigns
• Experiment with AI tools for content creation and marketing optimization

Who are we looking for?

• An enthusiastic university/college student with affinity for marketing and social media
• You're analytical, creative, and hands‑on
• You have interest in growth marketing and digital trends
• You speak and write fluent Dutch and English
• Experience with social media, Canva, or online advertising is a plus, but not required
• You're curious about AI technologies in marketing
• You're available for at least 4 months, 32-40 hours per week
