Job summary

The Mouse Mansion Company in Amsterdam is seeking an enthusiastic e-commerce intern to join our small team above the shop. You’ll dive into online marketing, help grow our international presence, and gain hands-on experience across all facets of our webshop.

You’ll work 32–40 hours per week for at least four months, with freedom to test ideas and learn Shopify, Klaviyo, and ads platforms while collaborating with influencers and fulfillment partners.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic university/college student with interest in e-commerce and online marketing.
• Available for at least four months, 32–40 hours per week.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Help optimize our Shopify webshop and international rollout
• Set up email campaigns in Klaviyo and analyze results
• Assist in setting up and optimizing Meta and Google Ads campaigns
• Dive into Google Analytics to gather insights and create reports
• Support collaborations with influencers and affiliate partners
• Communicate with our international fulfillment partners
• Help create content for our online channels
• Contribute ideas for new e-commerce strategies and improvements

About The Mouse Mansion
The Mouse Mansion, originating from Karina Schaapman's successful book series, has grown into an internationally recognized children's brand with worldwide distribution of books, toys, an animated series, and webshop. Our unique museum/shop at Muntplein in Amsterdam forms the heart of this creative concept, where the original miniature worlds are exhibited and visitors from around the world are welcomed daily.

As a family business with international ambitions, we coordinate all global activities from our office above the shop. The shop functions not only as a point of sale, but as an experience center where visitors discover the complete Mouse Mansion universe.

About the internship
As an e-commerce intern at The Mouse Mansion, you\'ll dive into the world of online marketing and international e-commerce. You\'ll help build our digital presence and support our brand\'s worldwide growth. You\'ll have the opportunity to work with all facets of e-commerce and make real impact.

In this role, you\'ll work directly with our small, driven team and have the freedom to execute your own ideas. You\'ll learn not only the technical side of e-commerce, but also how to position an international brand online.

Who are we looking for?

• An enthusiastic university/college student with affinity for e-commerce and online marketing
• You\'re analytical, creative, and hands-on
• You have interest in international e-commerce and digital trends
• You speak and write fluent Dutch and English
• Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo or online advertising is a plus, but not required
• You\'re available for at least 4 months, 32-40 hours per week
