Mailmeisters in the Netherlands is seeking a technically skilled mail marketer to join a growing team. You will connect online shops to ESPs via webhooks and APIs, build data integrations, and create resilient HTML templates for email campaigns.

You will also develop APIs for data exchange, craft personalised forms and pop-ups, and collaborate with strategists to design innovative campaign solutions. A technical HBO background and strong JS/HTML/CSS skills are required.

Formación

• Bachelor HBO level in a technical field.
• In-depth knowledge of Email Service Providers and HTML/CSS for email.
• Experience building API integrations and GTM scripts.
• Strong communication and willingness to share knowledge.

About us, briefly

Mailmeisters is a collective of email marketing specialists working for leading brands such as Neleman Wijnen, EasyToys, HappySoaps, Supspace, Greetz and Stoov. New projects come in all the time, so we're looking for a technically skilled email marketer who doesn't shy away from technical challenges and can pass on their craftsmanship to our clients with passion.

Your meistership

• Connecting online shops to ESPs via webhooks/APIs for seamless data integration Every ESP has standard integrations, and almost every client has something that falls just outside them. A custom event from the online shop to Klaviyo, a connection that has to run through middleware, or data that needs cleaning first. You decide which route is right and build it.
• Independently building APIs to exchange data between systems Sometimes the connection you need simply doesn't exist, and you make it yourself. An endpoint that fetches order data, or a job that updates segments every night. You choose how to set it up, and keep it maintainable for the colleague who looks at it after you.
• Designing and implementing responsive HTML templates for email marketing Email HTML is a craft of its own: what works in the browser falls apart in Outlook. You build templates that work everywhere, in such a way that a marketer can fill them afterwards without needing you.
• Creating personalised forms and pop-ups for increased user interaction on websites From a sign-up form that simply has to work to a pop-up that responds to what someone has just viewed. You build them, measure whether they do what they should, and adjust what doesn't work.
• Working with colleagues to come up with innovative campaign solutions The strategists and specialists work out what needs to happen; you know what's technically possible. That conversation is where the better campaigns come from, and you're part of it from the start instead of at the end.

We ask that you

• work and think at least at bachelor's (HBO) level in a technical field
• have in-depth knowledge of and experience with Email Service Providers and HTML/CSS for email
• have experience building API integrations and custom scripts, for example for Google Tag Manager in JavaScript
• have a critical mindset
• have excellent communication skills and a passion for sharing your technical knowledge with clients and colleagues
