Mailmeisters in the Netherlands is seeking an email marketer who thrives on advising clients and driving growth for brands. You will design and run client campaigns, analyze data, and help improve customer journeys and dashboards.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s HBO degree or proven email marketing experience, with hands-on ESP and marketing automation skills. The role offers hybrid work, 32–40 hours per week, a good salary, a pension, a laptop, and room to grow in a young, energetic team.

Although mailmeisters hasn’t been around for long, we’ve already built up considerable experience. We work for great brands such as Neleman Wijnen, EasyToys, HappySoaps, Supspace, Greetz and Stoov. Because new requests keep coming in, we’re looking for a driven email marketer who takes pleasure in their “meistership” and can pass it on to our clients like no one else

You’re the email marketing specialist who takes responsibility, shows initiative and wants to grow. You also enjoy working at a company with an open culture and professional colleagues. You’re smart and eager to learn, and you work in a structured and collegial way. Service matters a great deal to you, and you’re only satisfied when the client is.

Your meistership

• Advising clients on the perfect email strategy Which flows need to be in place, how often to send, and just as much what you’d better not send. You look at the data and at the brand, and explain why you recommend something — even when that advice is “less”.
• Designing and running client campaigns based on a briefing From briefing to a campaign that’s ready to go: set-up, layout, and the segments that receive it. Along the way, you make sure what you deliver still fits the brand.
• Monitoring, testing and optimising email campaigns for the best results A campaign isn’t finished once it’s out the door. You review what happened, set up A/B tests and adjust where it pays off: subject lines, timing, structure.
• Advising clients on the best selections and segmentations of their database Who gets what, and when. You dive into the database, build segments that make sense, and keep an eye on a list staying healthy rather than just big.
• Coming up with and building the most innovative campaign solutions together with colleagues You’re not on your own. With the technical meisters and the other specialists, you work out what’s possible and build campaigns that go beyond a newsletter.

• are commercially minded and punctual, and find it easy to keep an overview;
• have a passion for email marketing, customer journeys, reviews and dashboarding, and keep up with the latest developments;
• enjoy working on several projects at the same time;
• have strong communication skills and enjoy advising others and sharing your expertise;
• are passionate about your field and keep an eye on trends and developments. When you apply them within a client assignment, you always do so with a sound, data-based rationale.
