Job summary

Simwave in Barendrecht, part of the RelyOn Group, trains maritime professionals using over 60 bridge and engine room simulators. As Technical Instructor, you bring your 2nd Engineer level or higher to assess and develop seafarers from around the world.

You will operate simulators, deliver courses across engine room, cargo and electrical systems, and design training scenarios to keep content sharp. Cruise experience and IGF certification are valued assets for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as 2nd Engineer level or higher.
• Qualified Marine Engineer or Electro Technical Officer.
• Fluent in English; cruise experience preferred.
• IGF certification is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Train and assess maritime professionals from around the world.
