Job summary
Middle Point is seeking a Hardware Engineer to design electrical control and drive systems for maritime and industrial projects. You will use EPLAN P8 from requirements to commissioning, collaborating with project and software engineers throughout the lifecycle.
You will translate customer needs into technical solutions, contribute during quotations, support panel building, and work with commissioning teams on site. English proficiency and a proactive mindset are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Experience with EPLAN P8 is required.
- Relevant engineering experience with maritime or industrial projects.
- Good command of English and interest in electrical control systems and automation.
Responsibilities
- Create electrical designs and schematics in EPLAN P8.
- Translate customer requirements into complete technical solutions.
- Coordinate technical choices with project and software engineers.
- Provide engineering input during quotation and sales processes.
- Support panel building and resolve technical questions during production.
- Work with commissioning engineers during installation and start-up.
- Contribute to international turnkey projects.
