Job summary

Wajer Yachts in Lemmer, Netherlands, seeks a Project Engineer to bridge Design Engineering and Production Line Engineering on new yacht models. You will draft composite and metal components, develop 2D/3D drawings, and ensure manufacturability within CE and MCA standards.

You collaborate with Project Engineers and other engineers, growing into leading your own projects while contributing to open-boat models and specialty builds.

Qualifications

• Prefer HBO-level degree in mechanical engineering or naval architecture, but MBO-4 with HBO-equivalent experience is also welcome.
• Strong drafting skills in 2D and 3D CAD and affinity for composite parts.
• Interest in watersports and yacht construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and develop components, structures, and installations ensuring CE and MCA compliance.
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models; prepare lamination drawings and mold data.
• Coordinate with Production Line Engineering and Project Engineers on design feasibility.
