Job summary

JAC Recruitment (UK) Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Rotterdam, focusing on the installation and maintenance of remote control systems for commercial vessels. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and strong problem-solving skills, along with an ability to work hands-on.

This role offers a base salary between €3,000 and €4,000 per month, plus holiday allowance and potential bonuses. Candidates should be proficient in English, willing to travel frequently, and possess a valid EU driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical certification in electronics, mechanics, or a related field.
• Previous field service or maintenance experience is preferred.
• Ability to read technical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites for inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Install and commission propulsion remote control and fuel supply systems.
• Deliver expert technical support to clients.

Skills

Diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

Experience with electronic and pneumatic systems

Proficiency in English

Competence in using electrical and hand tools

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Education
