Manufacturing Technician – Radiopharmaceutical Production
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work in a highly specialized pharmaceutical production environment where a completely new manufacturing process is being established. The process combines advanced production technology, chemistry and the handling of radioactive materials. Because this production process is so unique, even experienced operators will have a lot to learn. Everyone starts with an extensive training period and gradually develops into a specialist within this environment. The site is still in a start-up and development phase. This means you will not only operate the process, but also have the opportunity to identify improvements, contribute ideas and help optimize the way production is carried out. You will contribute to the production of a highly specialized radiopharmaceutical product within men’s health. This type of production is extremely rare in the Netherlands.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will perform production activities according to SOPs, Work Instructions and Batch Manufacturing Records. Your responsibilities include:
For this position, your mindset is just as important as your previous experience.
You are:
A MBO 4 or HBO working and thinking level is preferred.
Relevant backgrounds include:
Experience within pharmaceutical production, GMP or another regulated production environment is an advantage, but not essential.
Previous experience with radioactive materials is not required. You will receive the necessary training to work safely within this specialized environment. A TMS-VRS Level D certificate is required for the role. If you do not have this certificate yet, you can obtain it during your first year of employment. The training is fully funded by the employer.
This is not a standard operator position. You will work in a production environment where there is still a lot to learn, discover and improve. You will be trained in a process that very few operators in the Netherlands have experience with and can develop into a highly specialized manufacturing professional. If you are driven, proactive and willing to learn something completely new, this could be a unique next step in your career.
