Job summary

Frencken is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Machining to act as the technical expert for machining, industrialization and NPI projects at our Eindhoven and Reuver sites. You will translate customer requirements into scalable manufacturing solutions and drive manufacturability improvements across cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong CNC knowledge, and hands‑on Lean experience. Proficiency in English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, preferably in machining or high-tech environments.
• Experience leading NPI and industrialization projects.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining and process optimization.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans and Lean manufacturing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Your Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer Machining, you are the technical expert for machining and manufacturing processes, industrialization activities, and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects in Eindhoven and Reuver. You translate customer requirements into efficient and scalable manufacturing solutions while ensuring alignment with Frencken's capabilities. Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams, you drive manufacturability, lead NPI projects from concept to production, optimize processes, and contribute to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturability assessments and support RFQ activities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in machining or high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience leading NPI and industrialization projects.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, manufacturing processes, and process optimization.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proactive, hands-on, and focused on continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
