Fokker Landing Gear zoekt een Manufacturing Engineer (Product & Planning) in een IPT-team om soepele productie te waarborgen. Je analyseert productiekenmerken, regelt L1-non-conformities en bereidt disposities voor L2-non-conformities voor.

Je doel is door te groeien naar NC-gever en continu verbeteren van productieprocessen, met LEAN en Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) als basisprincipes.

Qualifikationen

• 3–7 jaar ervaring in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ervaring met industriële processen en implementatie van verbeteringen.
• Kennis van LEAN en kwaliteitssystemen (ISO9000/AS9100/D1-9000).

Aufgaben

• Ontwikkel technische oplossingen die voldoen aan HSE-voorschriften.
• Voorzie productie-ontwikkeling en integratie van ondersteuning.
• Los issues op in leveranciersplanningen en kwaliteit.
• Gebruik root-cause analyses en CAPA om non-conformities te verminderen.

At Fokker Landing Gear in Papendrecht, they are expanding the Manufacturing Engineering team and looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help ensure seamless production processes. Their work supports world-renowned aircraft, including the Apache combat helicopter, the F-35 Lightning II (JSF), the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, and the NH90 maritime combat helicopter.

As a Manufacturing Engineer (Product & Planning), you will be a crucial member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT), ensuring smooth operational deliveries. You will be responsible for analyzing production characteristics, managing Level 1 (L1) non-conformities, defining temporary production instructions, and preparing dispositions for Level 2 (L2) non-conformities. Your goal? Advancing to a Non-Conformity (NC) approver role while continuously improving production processes.

Your responsibilities

• Develop technical solutions to complex problems, ensuring compliance with GKN Aerospace Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing development and integration for production.
• Resolve issues related to vendor schedules and quality.
• Utilize root cause analysis, preventative and corrective actions to reduce non-conformities.
• Oversee the implementation of tooling and production planning using Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) methodologies.
• Manage product development, first article development, configuration changes, and build process implementation.
• Deliver measurable, results-driven improvements aligned with Operational & Program goals.
• Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously improve production processes by implementing Lean initiatives.

Wie ben jij?

• Experience in product/process introduction (industrialization) and production process improvements.
• 3 to 7 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• A degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive, or related field).
• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills within a global organization.
• Working knowledge of LEAN processes and quality systems (ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000).
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Knowledge and experience with hard metals;
• Familiarity with machining processes (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing) and/or surface treatment processes (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI) is a strict requirement.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred

• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills within a global organization.
• Working knowledge of LEAN processes and quality systems (ISO9000, AS9100).
