Job summary

EY in the Netherlands is seeking a Manager in People Consulting to lead and deliver multi-disciplinary transformation programs from concept to realization. You will manage end-to-end projects, foster strong client relationships, and drive alignment across stakeholders in a hybrid Eindhoven/Amsterdam setting.

We value a strategic mindset, leadership experience, and fluency in Dutch and English, with a focus on AI adoption within people-related processes.

Qualifications

• Academic background with 6–9 years leading transformations across multiple people-domains.
• Proven experience in leading and delivering large-scale projects in a consulting environment.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Delivering complex transformation programs to a successful conclusion, focusing on organization, processes, and people; includes digital transformations, reorganizations, implementations, and process improvements.
• Managing complex projects end-to-end from planning through implementation with efficient resource deployment.
• Building strong client relationships and proactively developing long-term partnerships; identifying commercial opportunities.
• Driving stakeholder alignment and buy-in for impactful transformation initiatives.
• Coaching and developing teams, acting as a role model within EY.

Your new job | About your main responsibilities

As a Manager People Consulting , you’ll be part of the People Consulting te am. In our team we focus on the following comp etencies: Change Management , HR Transformation, Leadership & Culture, HR Technology, Talent & Skills and AI Adoption & AI for HR. A s a manager in our team you’ll mainly focus on one of these competencies. In this role, you’ll be responsible for :

• Delivering complex transformation programs to a successful conclusion, with a focus on organization, processes, and people. This includes digital transformations, reorganizations, implementations, and process improvements.

• Managing complex projects end-to-end, from planning through implementation, ensuring that resources are deployed in a timely and efficient manner.

• Building strong connections with clients and proactively developing and maintaining long‑term relationships, while identifying and leveraging commercial opportunities.

• Driving stakeholder alignment and buy‑in for impactful transformation initiatives.

• Coaching and developing teams and colleagues, and acting as a role model within the organization.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement and development of our products and services, particularly in the area of your specialization .

The People Consulting department consists of 40 professionals who have at least one thing in common. As we co n tinue to grow, we are expanding our team beyond Amsterdam and are now looking for colleagues in Eindhoven. You will be one of the first in this location, offering a unique opportunity to help shape and build our presence there. While you will be part of our established People Consulting team in Amsterdam, your day‑to‑day (client) work will primarily take place in the Eindhoven region. At the same time, staying connected is key: you will join the full team in Amsterdam at least once a month for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and team building, ensuring you remain closely integrated with your colleagues.

Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution

• An academic background and 6–9 years of experi ence in leading transformation that involve multiple people‑domains related to our competences ( e.g. C hange M anagement, HR‑transformation, Le adership & C ulture, Digital‑ HR , Talent & Skills , AI Adoption & AI in HR )

• Proven experience in leading and delivering large‑scale projects and transformation programs in a consulting/project environment

• Excellent command of Dutch (preferred) and English, both written and spoken

• Results‑driven, with the confidence to challenge the status quo

• Commercial experience in building sustainable client relationships, identifying and leveraging opportunities, and translating client needs into effective solutions

• A strategic mindset with the ability to translate business challenges into people‑centered solutions

• Experience and/or curiosity in how to deploy AI within people related processes
