Job summary

DeRegt Cables seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability, performance, and continuity of production equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement in our Krimpen aan de Lek facility.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality and HSE to minimize downtime, support new equipment implementations, and contribute to maintenance process professionalization.

Qualifications

• MBO Level 4 diploma in Elektrotechniek/Mechatronica or similar.
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance or technical service in production.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation.
• Able to read technical drawings, schematics and maintenance docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and installations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
• Analyze recurring problems and contribute to Root Cause Analysis and improvements.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of new machines.
• Maintain maintenance records in Ultimo and collaborate with teams.
