Job summary

SSI SCHÄFER is seeking a Maintenance & Service Technician for our Roosendaal distribution centre. You will keep the automated systems running smoothly, performing preventive maintenance on cranes, pallet transport, a monorail, and AGVs.

The role offers a permanent contract with a salary between €3,100 and €4,000 gross per month (40-hour week), plus a 30% shift allowance when on a 5-shift rota and a strong bonus scheme. PME pension and industry benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on automated systems, including cranes, pallet transport, monorail and AGVs.
• Adhere to a fixed maintenance schedule (PPM) and ensure minimal downtime.
• Work at height and move around a large distribution centre; a day shift or shift-based role is possible.
• Collaborate with a team of about 40 colleagues to keep the centre running smoothly.

You’ll be based at our distribution centre in Roosendaal. This 30,000 m² distribution centre was built for our client PRIMARK® and features the latest systems. What will you be doing?

You’ll ensure that the automated systems at the PRIMARK® distribution centre keep running smoothly at all times. Together with nearly 40 colleagues, you’ll carry out preventive maintenance on, amongst other things, 20-metre-high automated cranes, pallet transport systems, a monorail system and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). You’ll work to a fixed maintenance schedule (PPM), spend a lot of time walking around the distribution centre and regularly work at height. A day shift or a shift-based role? The choice is yours!

• a salary of between €3,100 and €4,000 gross per month (based on a 40-hour week); you can progress in your role and salary up to scale J of the Metalektro Collective Labour Agreement;
• a 30% shift allowance once we operate a 5-shift rota, and an attractive bonus scheme that can amount to a full gross monthly salary;
• €0.23 travel allowance per kilometre (up to 50 km one way);
