Job summary

The Social Hub in Amsterdam is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the technical heartbeat of our spaces, from guest rooms to rooftop venues. You’ll manage a small crew, coordinate with external contractors, and jump in as the first responder when anything technical pops up in the hub.

You’ll plan daily maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other building systems, track work orders in Salesforce, and monitor budgets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance management, ideally in hospitality.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on mindset and calm under pressure.
• Ability to coordinate contractors and guide a team.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the maintenance team while coordinating with external contractors.
• Be the first responder when technical issues arise in the hub.
• Plan daily maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators and more.
• Track and follow up on work orders using Salesforce.
• Monitor budgets, check invoices and keep maintenance records.
• Register monthly utility consumption and support energy-efficient habits.
• Collaborate with the Regional Property Manager to ensure safety and compliance.

WhatYou’llHave

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance management, ideally in hospitality
• You bring strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
• You have a hands-on mindset and stay calm when things get messy
• You bring confidence in coordinating contractors and guiding a team
• You have basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical,plumbingand other building systems
• You speak Dutch, English is a plus
