Jobster in Venlo is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a growing logistics operation. You will act as the technical specialist for complex issues, diagnose recurring problems, and implement sustainable solutions within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will lead troubleshooting, support technicians, and drive long-term improvements to increase reliability and efficiency. Fluency in English and the ability to commute to Venlo are essential.

Qualifications

• MBO-level education (or higher) in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• Approximately 3 years of relevant technical work experience.
• Experience working within a warehouse, logistics, production, or automated industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with machinery, electrical systems, and technical maintenance.
• Experience performing root cause analyses in a technical environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• A proactive and independent mindset with the ability to take ownership and initiative.
• Own transportation and the ability to commute independently to the Venlo area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving machinery, electrical systems, and software.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and identify root causes using a structured approach.
• Install, commission, maintain, and optimize warehouse machinery and logistics systems.
• Support and guide maintenance technicians with challenging technical issues.
• Develop and implement long-term technical improvements to increase system reliability and performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
• Contribute to technical projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and warehouse operations.
• Help create structure and best practices within a growing technical environment.
