Job summary

Flynn and Chase in Amsterdam is seeking an M&A Associate to join a leading global investment bank. The platform handles large, cross-border transactions and public takeovers on Euronext Amsterdam.

You will work directly with senior bankers and CFOs, boards and Supervisory Board members. You will lead day-to-day execution on M&A transactions, including valuation, financial modelling, due diligence coordination, documentation, and closing, and you will build and own DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution

Qualifications

• Experience in investment banking M&A deals.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Ability to coordinate due diligence and closing processes.

We are recruiting an M&A Associate for the Amsterdam office of a leading global investment bank. The platform sits at the top of the Benelux league tables and executes the largest, most complex transactions in the market: public takeovers of Euronext Amsterdam-listed companies, cross-border strategic mergers, carve-outs from Dutch and Belgian industrial groups, and sponsor-led large-cap situations.

What makes this seat unusual is the combination of scale and access. The Amsterdam team is deliberately lean, so Associates work directly with senior bankers and sit in front of CFOs, boards and Supervisory Board members rather than behind three layers of process. Deal flow is genuinely large cap and genuinely cross-border, with full support from the bank's global sector and financing platforms. Recent Benelux activity has been strong, with Dutch deal volumes running ahead of the three-year average and both strategic and financial buyers active, so the pipeline is live rather than theoretical.
