Job summary

A leading Dutch yacht builder is seeking a Naval Architect to support the design and technical development of luxury vessels. You’ll contribute to the design process from concept to delivery, collaborating with engineers and production teams to deliver performance-optimized designs. The ideal candidate has a degree in Naval Architecture and is proficient in SolidWorks, with strong English and Dutch communication skills. Qualifications

• HBO or WO degree in Naval Architecture or related field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (Rhino and AutoCAD are a plus).
• Experience with composite construction in marine environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop vessel designs using principles of naval architecture.
• Collaborate on hull optimization, weight balance, and structural calculations.
• Assist in maintaining and updating 3D models and drawings.
• Provide ongoing design support during the build phase.
