Job summary

Olympia is seeking a logistics employee for a long‑term position in Eemshaven, working in a modern data centre for a major American client. The role includes loading/unloading, moving materials, and assembling racks, with teamwork to ensure smooth operations.

You will work two shifts, mainly Monday to Friday, with weekend support as needed, and there is potential for a permanent contract after at least one year.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and move heavy items and work in a warehouse.
• Proficiency in Dutch and/or English for team communication.
• Driving licence and own transport are required.
• Willing to obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and a VCA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload heavy goods in the data centre logistics setting.
• Check materials and move them to the correct location with attention to detail.

Job description

As a logistics employee in the Eemshaven, you’ll ensure that everything runs smoothly in the data centre. You’ll be working in a modern data centre for a major American client.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for a range of tasks: you’ll be loading and unloading heavy goods, which can sometimes be quite a challenge. But don’t worry, you’ll be working alongside great colleagues who’ll lend a hand when needed. You will also check materials and move them to the correct location, where your eye for detail will come in handy. Furthermore, you will be responsible for assembling and partially installing various racks within the data centre and assisting with other logistics processes. Together with the team, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly in the data centre.

You will work in two shifts, and working days are mainly Monday to Friday, but you may also be asked to help out at weekends to support your colleagues. This is a long-term role (expected to last at least one year) and there is also the possibility of being taken on by the client on a permanent contract.
