Job summary

Strativ Group is seeking an experienced Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) Engineer to join our aerospace and defence teams, focused on reliability, maintainability and supportability from design through lifecycle.

You will conduct LSA across programmes, develop data and requirements, perform FMECA/LORA analyses, and collaborate with Engineering, ILS and maintenance teams to ensure effective support and operability of complex systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as LSA Engineer or ILS Engineer in aerospace/defence.
• Strong knowledge of Logistics Support Analysis and Integrated Logistics Support.
• Experience with reliability, maintainability and supportability engineering.
• Knowledge of FMEA/FMECA, LORA and Maintenance Task Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) across aerospace and defence programmes.
• Develop and maintain LSA data, logistics analysis and supportability requirements.
• Carry out Maintainability, Reliability and Supportability analysis.
• Develop and analyse maintenance concepts and maintenance requirements.
• Support Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA/FMEA) activities.
• Contribute to Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and maintenance task analysis.
• Develop and maintain Maintenance Significant Items (MSIs) and related logistics data.
• Support the development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) deliverables.
• Work closely with Engineering to ensure supportability is considered throughout the design lifecycle.

Job description

I'm working with a rapidly growing aerospace and defence organisation developing advanced technologies and unmanned systems, and they're looking for an experienced Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) Engineer to join their team.

This is a great opportunity to work on complex aerospace and defence programmes, helping ensure systems are designed with reliability, maintainability, supportability and lifecycle requirements built in from the start.

The Role

As an LSA Engineer, you'll work closely with Engineering, ILS, Maintenance, Configuration Management and Programme teams to develop and analyse logistics support requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

You’ll play an important role in ensuring that complex systems can be effectively maintained, supported and operated throughout their service life.

What you'll be doing

• Contribute to customer reviews, audits and programme milestones

What we're looking for

• Experience working as an LSA Engineer / Logistics Support Analyst / ILS Engineer or similar
• Strong understanding of Logistics Support Analysis and Integrated Logistics Support
• Experience with reliability, maintainability and supportability engineering
• Knowledge of FMEA/FMECA, LORA and Maintenance Task Analysis
• Experience working with technical and engineering data
• Understanding of configuration management and product lifecycle processes
• Ability to work closely with engineering, programme and maintenance teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal English

Experience in the following would be advantageous

• Military / Defence / Defence Engineering
• Ministry of Defence / MOD programmes
• Military equipment or complex weapon systems
• NATO or government programmes
• Highly regulated engineering environments

The person

I'm looking for someone who is analytical, structured and technically minded, but who can also communicate effectively with engineers, programme teams, suppliers and customers.
