Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics is seeking a QA professional to join our Dutch operation in Rotterdam. You will conduct quality inspections for fresh products, verify quarantine documents, and monitor cold chain compliance across warehousing and distribution activities.

You will lead supplier quality management, perform CAPA investigations, and ensure regulatory adherence with cross‑border teams, driving continuous improvement in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Agricultural Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Proficient in EU fresh food import regulations and auditing cross‑border quarantine documents.
• Certified in HACCP; knowledge of BRCGS/IFS Food Standards is a strong plus.
• Hands‑on experience with temperature mapping and cold‑chain controls.
• Strong CAPA experience: deviation investigations and root cause analysis.
• Experience collaborating with local and international suppliers on QA.
• Excellent written and spoken English; regulatory compliance experience.
• Familiar with EU food regulatory inspection frameworks and on‑site audits.

About The Team

You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality results in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Core Responsibilities

• 1) Quality Acceptance & Compliance Audit: Conduct quality inspection and acceptance for fresh products; verify all official quarantine certificates.
• 2) Cold Chain & Logistics QA: Monitor cold chain temperatures; enforce end‑to‑end quality control across warehousing and logistics.
• 3) Inbound & Supplier Quality Management: Execute inbound quality checks and document verification for local and cross‑border suppliers; manage and drive corrective actions for quality exceptions to full closure.

Skills & Qualifications

• 1) Professional Background: Degree in Food Science, Agricultural Science, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred. Proficient in EU fresh food import regulations; capable of independently auditing cross‑border quarantine documents, including veterinary and origin certificates.
• 2) Systems & Certifications: Certified or trained in EU Regulation (EC) No 852/2004, HACCP, and BRC. HACCP/ISO 22000 Internal Auditor qualification is a strong plus.
• 3) Cold Chain Operations: Trained in EU cold chain standards; hands‑on experience in temperature mapping, sensor calibration, cold‑chain break risk assessment, and CAPA. Capable of managing end‑to‑end temperature control for fresh food storage and transit.
• 4) Inspection Expertise: Skilled in inbound physical sampling, inspecting product appearance, weight, packaging, and composition. Competent in non‑conforming product isolation, disposition, and maintaining traceability records.
• 5) Issue Resolution (CAPA): Well‑versed in EU non‑conformance management protocols. Able to independently lead deviation investigations, perform root cause analysis, and close out supplier quality issues with compliant reports.
• 6) Cross‑Border Communication: Proficient in written and verbal English; familiar with BRCGS/IFS Food Standards. Capable of collaborating with local and international suppliers on document audits and quality rectifications.
• 7) Regulatory Compliance: Knowledgeable about EU food regulatory inspection frameworks; capable of hosting official audits, preparing documentation, and managing on‑site inquiries.
• 8) Complaints & Recalls: Familiar with EU regulations regarding food labeling, packaging, and weights. Competent in investigating and resolving customer quality complaints; knowledge of food recall procedures is preferred.
