Job summary

Start People is seeking a friendly reception employee for our Rotterdam Albrandswaard logistics hub. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and drivers, ensuring a smooth administrative flow and a welcoming atmosphere.

Fluent Dutch is required with English basic proficiency; Polish is a plus. You’ll handle visitor passes, verify CMR documents, manage inbound planning, and support MS Office and WMS/TMS systems during weekday shifts, 10:00–19:00.

Qualifications

• MBO level 3 diploma, preferably in administration or logistics.
• Fluent in Dutch; basic English; Polish is a plus.
• Experience in reception and logistics administration (CMR, load lists).
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics systems (WMS/TMS).
• Available for weekday shifts, 10:00–19:00, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and drivers and direct them to the appropriate department.
• Create, collect and accurately register visitor passes.
• Verify CMR documents, loading lists, and inbound planning for accuracy and compliance.
• Professionally manage incoming calls and provide clear responses.
• Maintain a tidy, professional reception area to create a positive impression.
