Job summary

Modexpress B.V. in Helmond (Haverdijk) is seeking an Expedition Employee for 36 hours per week to load/unload goods, prepare orders, and oversee inbound and outbound processes. For our location at Haverdijk in Helmond, we are looking for a motivated expedition employee who, together with the team, makes sure that all goods leave our warehouse on time, safely and correctly.

Your main tasks

Inbound

• Receiving and unloading incoming goods
• Checking quantities and quality using packing lists
• Registering goods in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Sorting goods per customer and order and preparing them for storage or further processing

Outbound

• Checking and releasing picked orders
• Adding shipping labels and doing final checks
• Sorting shipments by route or carrier
• Loading shipments and checking transport documents

General

• Working with an EPT and (if certified) a forklift
• Keeping the workplace clean, safe and organized
• Reporting problems or deviations to the team leader
• Supporting colleagues when needed to keep the process running smoothly

Working hours

• Monday to Thursday: 17:00 – 02:00
• Friday: start at 16:00 and work until the job is finished (usually between 12:00 and 00:00)

Willingness to work overtime is required.

What do we ask?

• Experience in logistics work (expedition experience is a plus)
• Able to do physical work and a real hands-on mentality

• Basic knowledge of Dutch and/or English
• Experience with EPT (preferred)
• Forklift certificate (preferred)
