Job summary

ISISPACE Group in Delft is seeking a logistics employee responsible for receiving, registering, and storing incoming goods. You will manage stock levels with our in-house tool and SAP Business ByDesign, ensure accurate registration, and support production with order picking and returns.

You will propose supply chain improvements, work with QA and engineering to resolve issues, and maintain meticulous records.

Qualifications

• Secondary vocational education in logistics (MBO 3-4) is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a relevant role is preferred.
• Good eye for detail and the ability to work accurately, with strong administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods and check them against purchase orders.
• Interface with QA and engineering teams for inspections and quality issues.
• Ensure goods are registered correctly and stored safely.
• Keep track of stock records/levels.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for standard stock items.
• Perform order picking and handle item returns for production.
• Maintain and upkeep of warehouse facilities.
• Pack outgoing shipments.

Job description

As a logistics employee you are responsible for receiving, registering and storing of incoming goods. You maintain records to keep track of stock levels by means of an own developed tool and SAP Business-by-Design. You will follow and administrate the internal flow of goods and are responsible for order picking as part of the production process. In order to optimize the overall process, you will propose changes in the supply chain to improve quality and to streamline the production process as part of continuous improvement. To do so you must have adequate insight in logistic processes. You will work in a small but dynamic team where last-minute work is not rare and problems need to be solved on the spot. Accuracy and delivering a high standard of quality are your second nature.

Specific tasks and responsibilities include:

• Incoming goods receival and check whether they meet the requirements mentioned in the purchase order.
• Interface with the Quality Assurance team and engineering teams such that they can perform the inspections and handle quality issues.
• Ensure that the good are registered correctly and stored safely.
• Keep track of stock records/levels.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for buying standard stock items.
• Order picking and item return for production.
• General maintenance and upkeep of warehouse.
• Pack outgoing shipments.
• Secondary Vocational Education (Dutch MBO 3-4, preferably logistics related).
• 1 a 2 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Experience with SAP Business by Design is a plus.
• You have a good eye for detail and the ability to work very accurately.
• You have good administrative skills and understand the importance of it.
• Strong communication- and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English (speaking / reading / writing), Proficiency in Dutch (speaking / reading / writing) is strongly preferred.
