Job summary

Maersk in Rotterdam is seeking an Inland Operations Agent to coordinate and optimize inland transports, including transhipments, crossdock and coldstore activities. You will connect containers between Rotterdam terminals and barges, coordinating with truck and rail planners to minimize dwell time and ensure smooth transfers.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning transports across barge/truck/rail.
• Understanding of Customs processes and macro optimization is a plus.
• Knowledge of data insights and reporting tools is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Transhipments between Rotterdam deepsea terminals to barges and other assets.
• Plan Offdocking from APMT Rotterdam to Inland Terminals to balance yard density.
• Manage Crossdock/Coldstore truck delivery with just‑in‑time scheduling.
• Join daily/weekly calls with stakeholders to align on execution and priorities.
• Assist onboarding of new business and proactively address challenges.
