FedEx zoekt een logistiek medewerker voor ons magazijn in Duiven, Gelderland. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het sorteren, scannen en in- en uitpakken van pakketten en verzekert dat alles volgens de juiste route verloopt.

Tijdens het eerste trainingsperiode volg je on-site training Smart Handling en daarna ontdek je welke processen het beste bij je passen. Er zijn groeikansen richting heftruckchauffeur of teamleider; wij hechten veel waarde aan persoonlijk contact en een prettige werksfeer.

Qualifications

• U spreekt Nederlands of Engels.
• Bereid tot online Awareness Dangerous Goods cursus na een succesvolle rondleiding.
• Na positieve rondleiding verzoeken wij om Certificaat van Conduct (VOG) op te vragen.

Responsibilities

• Sorteren van pakketten, scannen, en in- en uitpakken.
• Zorgdragen dat pakketten op de juiste route terechtkomen in het magazijn.
• Tijdens de eerste maanden werken aan de transportband en zorgen dat pakketten op de juiste transportband of in de juiste bestelbus belanden.

As a logistics employee, you ensure all packages follow the right route on time. Does this sound like something for you? Read on!

Job description:

As a logistics employee, you are responsible for sorting packages, scanning, and packing and unpacking boxes. You make sure the packages follow the correct route in our warehouse. During the first few months, you will work daily at the conveyor belt, ensuring packages end up on the correct transport belt or in the right delivery van. You work three shifts with a weekly rotation: 14:30 till 23:00 PM, 17:30 till 01:00 AM and 23:00 till 07:00 AM.

To help you get started well, you will begin with a practical on-site training: Smart Handling. This is our own onboarding where you quickly become familiar with the processes, safety, and teamwork within the warehouse.

After your training period, we will see which process within the warehouse suits you best. There are plenty of growth opportunities, for example to become a forklift driver or even a team leader. Despite our size, we value personal attention and believe the most important thing is that you feel comfortable in a nice team.

What we offer:

• A salary of €3,028 to €3,587 gross per month, including shift allowances and end-of-year bonus, based on a full-time employment
• 8% holiday allowance and extra vacation days that increase with age
• Travel allowance of € 0.23 per kilometer

• You speak Dutch or English
