Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Nieuw-Vennep to join the Life Science Division, handling temperature-controlled shipments and ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, staging outbound goods, checking in/out freight, performing stock checks, and managing temperature data.

Fluent English is required; Dutch is a plus. Prior warehouse experience is desirable but not required; basic math and data-entry skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not required.
• Knowledge of airport codes destinations and basic geography knowledge.
• FLT/Rech Truck/VNA/PPT licenses desirable, although not essential.
• Expertise in GDP related quality assurance desirable, but not essential.
• Fluent oral and written English is a must, Dutch is beneficial.
• Exhibits typing skills and data entry skills.
• Manual handling skills.
• Basic administration skills.
• Able to operate and control equipment.
• Literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks.
• Pull and stage outbound goods using loading manifest.
• Check in/load out domestic and international freight.
• Maintaining temperature control requirements at all times.
• Put freight and products away in designated areas.
• Re-weigh freight / cargo as directed; basic math skills required.
• Execute all Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Managing equipment such as fridges and freezers.
• Defrosting freezers and undertaking basic maintenance, e.g. cleaning freezer filters.
• Helping to set up temperature mapping tests.
• Managing temperature data logger stocks.
• Completion of forms relating to Quality.
• Working with the eQMS, DOT Compliance.
• Performing monthly stock checks.
• Dealing with Customer enquiries.
• Organize some export shipments via courier service.
