Job summary

Google is seeking a Legal Trainee in Amsterdam for a 12-month fixed-term contract starting 8 February 2027. The Netherlands Legal team handles product due diligence, local compliance, escalations, regulatory inquiries, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law from a Dutch university.
• Experience in data protection, copyright, consumer law, technology or media law.
• Experience in a law firm or a company legal department.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Respond to various legal requests from users and third parties related to Google services and resolve internal escalations.
• Assist the Legal team in preparing and managing court actions and analyzing lawsuits against Google.
• Assist in projects such as product localization, marketing assessments, and contract drafting/review.
• Conduct research on GDPR, copyright, consumer regulations, media regulations and advertising.
• Contribute to internal knowledge databases for the Legal team and use internal AI tools for these tasks.
