ROSEN Group is seeking a Legal Counsel to support ROSEN Europe B.V. and stakeholders. The role focuses on contract management, drafting and negotiation of complex agreements within the oil & gas sector, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Located in Oldenzaal, the role emphasizes cross-border legal support and risk management. The candidate should have a law degree and 1–3 years of post-qualification experience, with fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Requires a completed law degree.

• Ability to independently review, negotiate and manage commercial contracts.

Legal Counsel

As a Legal Counsel, you will be part of the Legal & Compliance Department and play an important role in supporting ROSEN Europe B.V. and its stakeholders. This position is primarily focused on contract management and commercial legal support within the oil & gas industry, with a strong emphasis on reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and managing complex customer and supplier agreements.

You will be responsible for helping the business manage legal and compliance risks while ensuring that contractual arrangements align with ROSEN's commercial objectives and legal requirements. In addition, you will support the organization in conducting business in accordance with applicable national and international laws and regulations.

Responsible for:

• Providing legal support to ROSEN Europe B.V and its stakeholder, in regards to various complex topics and areas of law and compliance (e.g. contract law, corporate law);
• Providing legal and compliance advice on a wide range of issues;
• Negotiating, drafting, reviewing independently agreements and other legal related documents;
• Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect ROSEN Europe B.V. and/or its potential new businesses;
• Performing pre-litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights and liaise with external counsel;
• Providing training to respective units on substantive legal topics;
• Providing support to other legal and compliance team members.

What you will bring

• A completed Law degree;
• 1-3 years of post-qualification legal experience;

• The ability to independently review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts;
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken;
• Experience within the oil and gas, technology and/or engineering industry;
• Living within a maximum driving distance of one hour from our Oldenzaal location.

The provision of a certificate of good conduct (VOG) is part of the procedure. ROSEN Europe covers the costs of applying for a certificate on your behalf.

Please note: This position is primarily focused on contract management and commercial agreements within the oil & gas industry and is offered as a fixed-term contract for a duration of one year. Due to the specialized nature of the role, we will only consider applications from candidates who meet the above essential requirements.
