Job summary

Danone Nutricia Worldwide is seeking a Legal & Compliance Intern to support contract drafting, corporate verifications, and due diligence. You will engage with internal teams across legal and compliance while gaining exposure to product classification and regulatory support.

Hybrid work in the Netherlands with potential relocation and Dutch enrollment requirements. The role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic international environment and the chance to contribute to privacy and regulatory

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a Master’s student during the whole internship period.
• Fluent in English, oral and written.
• Available to start in October/November.

Responsibilities

• Contract Review & Drafting – drafting, reviewing, and amending commercial contracts.
• Corporate Documentation & Verification – signatory and address verifications.
• Third-Party Vetting & Due Diligence – supplier vetting input and reviews.
• Stakeholder Engagement – collaborating with internal teams and follow-ups.
• Website & Privacy Compliance – reviewing statements and regulatory topics.
• Product Classification & Regulatory Support – classification and local compliance.

As our Legal & Compliance Intern, you will gain exposure to a broad range of legal and compliance matters, actively contributing to compliance initiatives while developing your professional skills. Your responsibilities will include:

• Contract Review & Drafting – Assisting with drafting, reviewing, and amending commercial contracts, including NDAs and service agreements.
• Corporate Documentation & Verification – Assisting in corporate checks, including signatory and address verifications.
• Third-Party Vetting & Due Diligence – Supporting teams in reviewing and providing input within our supplier vetting platform.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborating with internal teams and making regular follow‑ups on legal and compliance processes.
• Website & Privacy Compliance – Reviewing legal statements, privacy‑related topics, and ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Product Classification & Regulatory Support –Assisting with product classification, local legislation reviews, and advertising/marketing compliance assessments.

Additionally, depending on the timing of your internship and your interests, you will have the opportunity to engage in other legal and compliance topics.

About You

You are a Master’s student in Faculty of Law or University of Applied Sciences.

• You are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• You have strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• You possess good communication skills and enjoy working with various stakeholders.
• You have a solid grasp ofMicrosoft Office programs.

There are some key requirements:

• Enrolled as a Master’s student during the whole internship period (if you are a non‑EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university and provide a Nuffic Agreement).
• You are available to start in October/November.
• You are available for a minimum of 5–6 months, 4–5 days per week (hybrid).
• You are fluent in English - oral and written.
• You can travel to the office in Rijswijk at least 1-2 times a week.
• Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and acquire a BSN.
