The Academy of Business & Leadership at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences is seeking to fill the position of:

Lecturer Researcher / Coach French Language in Context

Position details: 0.4 FTE (+ 0.2 FTE temporary)

Location: The vacancy is within the International Business program, part of the Academy of Business & Leadership. Courses are offered at Emmen and Leeuwarden campuses. The current position is based in Leeuwarden. The official language of instruction is English.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree holder
• Formal training in teaching French as a foreign language
• Preferably experienced in higher professional education and holds or is willing to obtain didactic competence qualification
• Preferably experienced with blended learning environments
• Knowledge of or experience working in internationally oriented companies and intercultural competence

Desired competencies:

• Excellent command of spoken and written English (C1/C2 level)
• Entrepreneurial, organization-sensitive, and result-oriented
• Proven ability to work in a coaching and inspiring manner

Additional information:

• Salary up to €6,359.47 gross per month (scale 11 CAO Higher Professional Education), excluding 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end-of-year bonus, depending on experience and knowledge
• This is a permanent position with an initial contract of 6 months
• Primary workplace is Leeuwarden, with willingness to travel as required
