Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of quality assurance/control in a production setting is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports and encourages the implementation and continuous improvement of the production system.
• May support and maintain the Food Safety Certification program and fulfill the role of SQF practitioner for the plant.
• Designs, institutes, and documents safety and environmental programs.
• Advises and consults with plant management on continuous improvement and quality/safety issues.
• Measures customer satisfaction and takes corrective action to maintain high quality.
• Performs periodic testing and documents results for certification and compliance.
