Job summary

Neste in Rotterdam seeks a Turnaround Scheduler to plan and optimize maintenance turnarounds and unit shutdowns, ensuring the schedule supports safety, cost, and performance targets and integrates with TA Lead, Ops, Procurement, and others.

Requirements include 5–10 years in process plant turnaround and scheduling, degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, and proficiency with MS Projects, Primavera, and SAFRAN.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 5–10 years in process plant turnaround and maintenance activities, especially planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of process plant production, maintenance, and contractor supervision & management.
• Familiar with turnaround phases from long-range planning to post-turnaround review.
• Project management knowledge in fast-paced, time-constrained environments; strong scheduling skills.

Responsibilities

• Report scheduling status to Turnaround Steering Team on a regular basis.
• Document scope changes and incorporate them into the schedule.
• Define scheduling process elements, milestones, logic, and interfaces.
• Establish schedule development milestones and lead optimization reviews.
• Coordinate with TA Lead, Ops, Procurement, and contractors to align daily look-ahead reporting.
