Job summary

Lely, a global leader in robotics and data systems for dairy farming, seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer to shape quality engineering across Horizon. You will drive automated testing from component to end-to-end, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers while collaborating with teams in the Netherlands, Turkey, and Portugal.

This hybrid role sits on the Maassluis campus with occasional travel and strong emphasis on test infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
• ≥5 years in test automation, verification or quality engineering.
• Experience guiding, coaching or mentoring engineers.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the test automation strategy across component, API and end-to-end testing.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and drive adoption across multiple teams.
• Provide technical direction and coaching to test automation engineers.
• Own the component testing domain and CI/CD integration.
• Drive collaboration across Netherlands and Turkey.
• Contribute hands-on to design, implement, and maintain automated tests in Horizon.
