Job summary

Enemix in the Netherlands seeks a Team Leader of Quantitative Trading to lead the in-house quant trading and forecasting team within the energy division. You will drive development, testing and deployment of trading models and forecasting tools, and oversee short-term positions in day-ahead and intraday markets.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of energy trading experience in a physical or asset-backed business.
• Proven leadership of quants or data engineers, ideally with a team lead or managerial title.
• Strong knowledge of day-ahead, intraday, balancing, and congestion markets.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with hands-on trading algorithm development.
• Expertise in time series analysis, statistical modelling, and forecasting, including ML or RL.
• Experience setting up and governing model architecture in a live trading environment.
• Fluency in Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a growing team of quant traders and data engineers.
• Develop and refine trading algorithms and forecasting models.
• Monitor market conditions and execute short-term trading strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise the trading portfolio and develop innovative products.
