Johnson & Johnson Innovation is seeking a Staff Project Engineer in Supply Chain Engineering at Leiden, Netherlands. The role oversees complex engineering projects from feasibility to closure, aligning with corporate goals, customer requirements, and GXP regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• University / Bachelor or equivalent degree in Engineering or Life Sciences.
• 7-9 years of experience in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience managing complex projects with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and other relevant engineering tools.
• Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, troubleshooting issues, and develop solutions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineer role: coordinate complete engineering scope with other engineers.
• Provide technical support for project planning, development, and modification.
• Develop and review technical specifications, reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Make selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
• Translate scope into request for quotation packages.
• Perform GXP requirements (e.g., Change Control).
• Check and approve drawings and calculations for design/construct.
• Manage progress and quality with external firms and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate modifications with stakeholders and participate in Management of Change.
