Job summary

TNO Delft invites a Project Manager Optics Manufacturing within Space Systems Engineering. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver space- and ground-based optical projects on time and budget, while coordinating with internal and international partners and the Optics Manufacturing business development team.

Expect engaging, non-repetitive work across cutting-edge space technologies, with opportunities to grow towards a project management or technical expert path.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in the space domain or similar relevant areas.
• Higher professional education (HBO)/university (WO) degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience with space agencies (ESA NASA) and other highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technology development and optics manufacturing projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Lead a multidisciplinary project team of scientists, engineers, researchers and technicians and liaise with stakeholders.
• Work with Space Systems Engineering and Optics Manufacturing teams; occasional international travel; proposal writing.
