Job summary

LG Energy Solution in Holland, MI is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day production activities and supervise hourly team members to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing operations.

You will coordinate staffing, production schedules, equipment utilization, quality requirements, and workflow to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and operational goals, while coaching operators and collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Safety and HR to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–6+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or related industrial environment.
• 1–3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production operations, quality control, and safety requirements.
• Experience interpreting production schedules, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, production, delivery, and operational objectives are achieved.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, production sequences, and resource allocation based on production requirements.
• Review and analyze production schedules, work orders, reports, charts, and other data to determine production requirements and evaluate performance.
• Monitor production performance, KPIs, and identify gaps with corrective actions.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, materials, products, and equipment for defects or issues.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, quality requirements, and safety.
