Job summary

• Experience leading mechanical design for complex high-tech equipment.
• Ability to define mechanical architectures and system concepts.
• Experience developing prototypes and integrating complete systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop the mechanical architecture of the polishing machine.
• Translate requirements into concrete mechanical concepts and solutions.
• Design and develop the equipment from concept through to prototype.
• Manage mechanical interfaces with other disciplines and subsystems.
• Lead and provide technical guidance for the mechanical work package.
• Make well-founded technical decisions and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers from mechatronics, motion, control, and optics.
• Ensure successful integration and validation of the prototype.
• Identify and resolve technical risks and bottlenecks.
• Take responsibility for planning, quality, and technical progress within your work package.
