Job summary

Nobleo Technology in Eindhoven, Netherlands, seeks an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to own the mechanical architecture and full development of a polishing machine for a photonics application. You will drive the design and delivery of a robust, integrated hardware solution from concept through prototype, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and the customer.

Qualifications

Experience leading mechanical design for complex high-tech equipment.
Ability to define mechanical architectures and system concepts.
Experience developing prototypes and integrating complete systems.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the result.

Responsibilities

Define and develop the mechanical architecture of the polishing machine.
Translate requirements into concrete mechanical concepts and solutions.
Design and develop the equipment from concept through to prototype.
Manage mechanical interfaces with other disciplines and subsystems.
Lead and provide technical guidance for the mechanical work package.
Make well-founded technical decisions and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineers from mechatronics, motion, control, and optics.
Ensure successful integration and validation of the prototype.
Identify and resolve technical risks and bottlenecks.
Take responsibility for planning, quality, and technical progress within your work package.
