Job summary

Haskoning seeks an experienced HV/MV Lead Electrical Engineer (MCF/Data Centres) to own complex electrical infrastructure on mission critical projects worldwide, focusing on substation design, grid connections and governance.

Based in Nijmegen, you will lead client-side scopes, coordinate with utilities and delivery partners, and shape robust, future-ready power systems for data centres. This role offers international exposure and a hybrid work model within a renowned, employee-owned consultancy.

Qualifications

• Ownership of complex technical scopes in HV/MV electrical engineering.
• Clear communication and ability to structure complex information across disciplines.
• Experience working with clients, utilities and multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Define HV and MV system concepts and substation design strategies from an owner engineer perspective.
• Lead and review HV substation layouts, protection strategies and earthing philosophies.
• Manage interfaces with utilities and clients; review contractor designs and technical submissions.
