Job summary

Keysight Technologies SAles Spain SL. is seeking a security evaluation engineer to drive embedded security assessments for cutting-edge verification projects across Europe.

You will review designs, perform vulnerability analyses, and coordinate with the security testing team to ensure rigorous results. The role requires hands-on analysis of SoCs, TEEs, and Secure Elements with a focus on SESIP and GlobalPlatform certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the security evaluation domain.
• Proficient in at least two of: C, C++, Assembly.
• Experience with secure embedded systems (Smart Cards, Secure Elements, SoCs, TEEs).
• Experience in Security Certification projects (SESIP/PSA is a plus).
• Understanding of low-level architecture, cryptography, and OS internals.

Responsibilities

• Perform design reviews for security certification requirements (SESIP, GlobalPlatform).
• Perform code reviews and structured vulnerability analyses per certification requirements.
• Provide coaching and guidance to colleagues based on certification expectations.
• Translate vulnerability findings into inputs for the security testing team with clear thresholds.
• Conduct embedded testing on devices under evaluation (firmware reversing, MITM, interface probing).
• Lead technical aspects of evaluation projects coordinating with the project manager for compliance and timely delivery.
