Job summary

FareHarbor, based in the Netherlands, is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to translate complex business problems into trusted data products and actionable insights. You will partner with Product, Commercial, Finance & Strategy, and Data Engineering to identify opportunities and influence decisions through data and analytics.

You will advance FareHarbor's analytics capabilities using modern tools, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, or a related quantitative field, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Strong experience working with commercial analytics; experience in product analytics is a plus.
  • Advanced SQL expertise and strong proficiency in Python for analytics, modeling, and automation.
  • Strong experience with dbt to manage data workflows and pipelines and deploy analytics-ready datasets; GitLab experience.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics workflows, automation, and natural language analytics tools.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, forecasting and business performance measurement. Experimentation is a plus.
  • Understanding of data modeling, dbt, semantic layers, and analytics engineering concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of metric design, reporting standards, and data governance principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, business judgment, and a track record of delivering measurable impact.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product and Commercial stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical frameworks, trusted metrics, and actionable insights.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable reporting, dashboards, and data products that support decision-making across the organization.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities, operational inefficiencies, and emerging business risks through data analysis and insight generation.
  • Conduct advanced analyses, forecasting to drive measurable business outcomes across acquisition, upsell, retention, and product adoption.
  • Translate analytical findings into measurable actions by partnering with stakeholders to operationalize recommendations and track business impact.
  • Help improve self-service analytics capabilities by developing trusted datasets, documentation, and reporting frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to improve data quality, governance, accessibility, and reliability.
  • Create and apply AI-assisted analytics workflows and automation to increase analytical productivity, accelerate insight generation, and evaluate the quality and reliability of AI-generated outputs.
  • Drive analytical excellence through best practices in business metrics design, experimentation, reporting quality, and insight generation.
  • Mentor and support other analysts through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and analytical guidance.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and data-informed decision-making.

About The Role

The Lead Data Analyst serves as the analytical craft leader within the BI team, responsible for translating complex business problems into trusted data products, advanced analytics, and actionable recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes. This role partners closely with Product, Commercial, Finance & Strategy, and Data Engineering teams to identify opportunities, measure impact, and influence business decisions through data and insights.

You will help advance FareHarbor's analytics capabilities by leveraging modern analytics tools, automation, and AI-assisted workflows. As a senior individual contributor, you will drive analytical best practices, mentor analysts, and help shape how analytics is delivered, adopted, and operationalized across the organization.

This role reports to the Manager, Data Analytics within the global Business Intelligence team.

What You’ll Do Here
