Job summary

Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel in Amsterdam is seeking a Chef de Cuisine for the Main Kitchen and banqueting. You will lead the central kitchen, plan stocks, sauces, mise en place, and ensure readiness for outlets and events.

Joining the Executive Chef and the Food & Beverage team, you will guide the Main Kitchen, maintain high quality and consistency, and drive delivery across high-volume service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a culinary leadership role, preferably within a hotel.
• Strong experience with banqueting and large-scale food production.
• Ability to manage a busy kitchen while maintaining quality, consistency and presentation.
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Organised and able to balance priorities during busy service periods.
• Fluent in English and able to work with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Legally eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Main Kitchen and oversee central preparation for outlets and events.
• Plan and execute banqueting, meetings and large events.
• Ensure quality and consistency across high-volume service.
