Job summary

La Fosse is seeking a Lead Architect Digital Workplace who is Dutch speaking and comfortable with remote work from the Netherlands. You will design high-level digital workplace architectures and guide cross-functional teams across technology ecosystems, ensuring security, sovereignty and governance.

You will engage with government and regulated clients, shaping transformations, migrations and service introductions while aligning architecture with business goals and operations across platforms

Qualifications

• Experience leading Digital Workplace transformations, modernisations, migrations or similar change programmes.
• Broad knowledge of Digital Workplace domains and enterprise IT environments.
• Hands-on experience with modern infrastructure: containerisation, Kubernetes and cloud.
• Experience with Agile, SAFe, DevOps and CI/CD ways of working.
• Knowledge of security, compliance and digital sovereignty.
• Experience with Linux and Microsoft-based workplace and hybrid environments, or a proven knack for architectures where different ecosystems meet.
• The ability to compare commercial, open-source and sovereign solutions objectively.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a style people enjoy working with.
• Excellent spoken and written Dutch.

It's a plus if you have:

• Experience in government, the semi-public sector or regulated enterprises.
• Experience with Digital Workplace strategy, governance or consultancy.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• A clear view of how AI can be applied in the modern digital workplace.
• Experience with products such as Nextcloud, Matrix, Open-Xchange or Keycloak. Picking up new technology quickly matters more than knowing these already.

You might be coming from a role as Digital Workplace Architect, Lead or Technical Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Identity Architect, or Senior Workplace Engineer with solid architecture experience.
