Nederveld Inc. is seeking a Survey Field Technician to join a field crew and support land surveying projects across sites in the United States. You will help a 1-2 person crew with measurements, setup and teardown of survey instruments, and marking of survey points.
The role requires reading and interpreting construction plans, strong math skills in trigonometry and geometry, and reliable driving with a valid license. Regular travel and compliance with safety standards are expected.
A Survey Field Technician will assist and work with a crew in the field to complete land surveying projects.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid Driver's License in good standing and demonstrates safe driving habits.
This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but s/he must be available during the standard work hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional hours may be requested based on workload.
This position is a combination of fieldwork, travel-related work, and sedentary work. An employee is regularly required to drive, stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, hear, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds. An employee may also be required to traverse wooded and/or uneven terrain, enter structures, use ladders, walk on roofs, enter small spaces, and work in various weather conditions.
Regular travel will be required as a part of the Survey Field Technician job.
