Job summary

NL Health Services is seeking a Laboratory Technologist I for the STR Laboratory at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Western Zone. This temp call-in role features rotating shifts, including evenings, on-call, and weekends.

Candidates must have an accredited MLT diploma or MLS degree, pass the national exam, and hold current registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals. Salary is CAD32.16–CAD40.20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology diploma program or a Medical Laboratory Science degree program is required.
• Successful completion of the Medical Laboratory Technologist national examination in the applicable field(s) of practice, as recognized in Canada, is required.
• Proof of current registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals is required.
