Job summary

Panda International is seeking a Senior Digital Lab IT specialist to support deployment, maintenance, and harmonization of digital laboratory systems in a GMP-regulated Advanced Therapies QC environment. You will convert paper-based lab methods into digital workflows, create and maintain method templates in LIMS, and ensure cross-site alignment with digital lab standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, life sciences or relevant technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in QC/QA, analytical testing, IT, or laboratory operations.
• Experience in highly regulated pharmaceutical/biotech environments.
• Proven experience with digital laboratory systems and LIMS.
• Strong understanding of lab processes and digitalisation of workflows.
• Experience creating or managing digital lab methods and templates.
• Experience with master data and LIMS configuration activities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Job description

Responsible for supporting the deployment, maintenance, and harmonization of digital laboratory systems within a GMP-regulated Advanced Therapies QC environment. The role focuses on converting paper-based laboratory methods into digital workflows, creating and maintaining method execution templates in LIMS, supporting master data and validation activities, and ensuring alignment with digital lab standards across sites. Responsibilities include digital method implementation, LIMS configuration, change-control support, technical documentation, master data validation, operator training, troubleshooting, and supporting LIMS–instrument interfaces.

Non-Negotiable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical, Life Sciences, or another relevant technical discipline
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Analytical Testing, IT, or Laboratory Operations
• Experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, Advanced Therapies, medical device, or other highly regulated environment
• Proven experience working with digital laboratory systems and LIMS
• Strong understanding of laboratory processes and digitalisation of laboratory workflows
• Experience creating, updating, or managing digital laboratory methods or workflows
• Experience with master data, method templates, or similar LIMS configuration activities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Experience with LabVantage LIMS
• Experience as a LIMS key user, business administrator, or SME
• Experience connecting laboratory instruments with LIMS
• Experience supporting LIMS–instrument interface setup and validation
• Experience with method harmonization or standardization across sites
• Experience with Change Control and validation activities in a GMP environment
• Experience creating or maintaining technical documentation
• Experience delivering training to laboratory operators
