Job summary

HUB Organoids is seeking an on-site Lab Operations Associate to support daily lab functions. You will maintain and calibrate equipment, manage reagents and inventory, and develop standardized procedures to keep the team efficient and compliant.

You will train colleagues on new tools and troubleshoot issues as they arise. The role requires a HBO-level bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field, plus hands-on lab experience and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree HBO level or equivalent in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven experience writing/implementing lab procedures in regulated settings.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment.
• Oversee reagent and inventory systems.
• Develop standardized lab procedures for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and train staff on new tools.
• Ensure lab safety compliance and proper purchasing.
• Organize facilities and optimize workflows.
• Contribute to reagent prep during peak periods.
